Wow.
Yesterday was the first full rehearsal with the band and, what can I say but wow! Eric has assembled an incredible group of not just virtuoso musicians but super decent genuine people. They came prepared and there was more than one occasion where I had to walk the room and hug each of them after a song. I came away saying that if that was it, just this rehearsal I would consider it the culmination of my music dreams. Eric said “It’s the practice before the practice”. I’m looking forward to next Sunday.
